Whitted Bowers Farm is 52 acre certified organic and certified biodynamic farm (one of 48 in the country) in Cedar Grove, North Carolina, 20 miles north of Chapel Hill. We are certified by Demeter which ensures the purest products possible. We currently grow strawberries, blackberries, figs, table grapes, heirloom melons and watermelon varieties, blueberries, asparagus and other specialty heirloom vegetables.

We sell our produce at the Carrboro Farmers’ Market on Wednesdays and Saturdays and at the downtown Hillsborough Eno River Farmers’ Market (in the new shelter behind the sheriff’s office) on Saturday mornings. During May and into the first week of June we open our farm to a strawberry pick your own. http://livepage.apple.com/shapeimage_2_link_0

We were delighted to have our strawberries at the 2010 Farm to Fork Picnic put on by the Center for Environmental Farming. We were paired with the fabulous Anya and Arthur from the Irregardless Cafe. Our booth was shown in an article in the Herald Sun.
